TBC Music Department is the Music Ministry of Tura Baptist Church. We believe God is the source of everything musical and that He is the giver of all skills and talents. Our mission is to provide vocal and instrumental music opportunities for people of all ages, with the primary emphasis on Worship.
Our humble journey started in October 2013 with only thirty students. We did not have proper classrooms back then, but we managed to teach music lessons in different places, such as the Mason-Phillips Hall Annexe, the Main Sanctuary, and the library. We thank God for His grace and guidance, and we appreciate the prayers and support from people. Over the years, we have attracted many students with different levels of musical skills. We have beginners and intermediate students who are learning to improve their musical abilities. We hope that some of them will pursue music as their career and serve in the music ministry in the future.
At present we are offering voice, piano, guitar and drum lessons. We have also started the Children’s Choir in 2019
