Tura Baptist Church has a social action wing called Society For Activities of Varied Enrichment (SAVE), which is a registered society under the Meghalaya Societies registration Act XII of 1983 since 2000. Through this society, Tura Baptist Church has carried out various social services for the communities.
The official name is ‘SOCIETY For ACTIVITIES of VARIED ENRICHMENT’ which is referred to as “SAVE” in the Constitution. The Headquarter of “SAVE” is Tura Baptist Church, Tura, West Garo Hills, Meghalaya, India, Pin 794002. The area of operation of SAVE is throughout all the districts of Garo Hills.
Membership: Any Baptist member who has attained the age of 18 years and above, and who subscribes to the aims and objects of the Constitutions shall on payment of an Annual membership fee of Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred) only became a member of SAVE
The holistic well-being and advancement of the people of Garo Hills
The improvement of the socio-economic conditions of the people of Garo Hills
The development of training institutions to train the Youth in various trades to make them self-supporting
To create towards mitigating human suffering through charitable activities
To create and foster amongst the citizens an awareness and capacity to respond to the challenges of environmental degradation
To provide infrastructural facilities for recreation for young people
To provide avenues for community get-together, educative seminars etc, by way of setting up facilities for the same
To create such facilities for the people in general and the Youth in particular, so as to dissuade them for anti-social activities
To impart training in the all-around Christian Discipleship towards target group
To carry out such activities which are purely non-political in nature in furthering the above and other related activities

Society For Activities Of Varied Enrichment (SAVE) of Tura Baptist Church has done of social services for the society
Free Blood Donation Camps at Tura Baptist Church regularly in collaboration with Tura Civil Hospital. Many young people have donated free blood for the Blood Bank of Tura Civil Hospital. It is an important programme of SAVE as it is a lifesaving programme
SAVE has also been KGBV School in collaboration with DMC(SSA), Tura for several years. It is a Residential School for school drop-out girls. It has a capacity of 50 students. Funds are provided by the State Government for running the school. Many school dropout girls have benefitted from this school
Initiated a beekeeping project in Sakalgre village, where they distributed bee boxes to some of the residents. This project aims to promote environmental conservation and provide a source of income for the villagers.
Collaborating with Management Committee of Hospitals to improve the quality and efficiency of the hospital services.
SAVE has been organizing Programmes for Senior Citizens and Awareness on Drugs Abuse regularly
A programme was conducted for the orange growers of Sakalgre village, where they learned how to use organic methods to prevent plant diseases. The participants watched practical demonstrations and gained useful knowledge. The programme was attended by 20 villagers who were interested in improving their orange cultivation
One of the ongoing projects of SAVE is to revive the Day Care Centre, which has been pending for a long time. SAVE is also looking into the possibility of establishing an Old Age Home at either Waribok or Dopgre Mason Phillips Centre. Moreover, SAVE is working hard to make the Mason Phiilips Centre at Danak Dopgre a functional venue for integrated youth training, sports, and conventions
